Chart Companion Privacy Notice

Chart Companion privacy notice: the extension has one purpose, to show Forex Fundamentals beside your active FX chart and let you create a private trade draft for review. This notice explains every data category it handles for that purpose.

Who is responsible

FMA Data Solutions B.V., trading as Forex Fundamentals, is the controller for data sent by the extension to the Forex Fundamentals platform. Questions and data-rights requests can be sent to [email protected].

What it does not collect

  • No broker credentials, orders, balances, account numbers or watchlists.
  • No general browsing history and no activity outside supported TradingView chart pages.
  • No data for advertising, credit decisions, data brokerage or sale.
  • No automatic publication of a trade or automatic placement of an order.

Retention and deletion

Overlay responses remain only in service-worker memory for up to five minutes. Private drafts expire after 24 hours; their private screenshots are then removed by the cleanup process. Local preferences and the consent record remain until you withdraw consent, clear extension storage or uninstall the extension. If you explicitly publish a draft, it becomes a Shared trade governed by your platform privacy settings and the main Forex Fundamentals retention policy.

Processors and sharing

Data is used only to provide, secure and measure this extension's stated purpose. Authentication is processed through Clerk. Platform data is processed by the hosting, database, object-storage and operational logging providers used by Forex Fundamentals. We do not sell extension data or share it for independent advertising.

Your control

Before sign-in or chart access, the extension asks you to agree to a concise disclosure. You can withdraw that consent from the extension options page. This blocks protected requests immediately and stops chart reading at the next short authorization check. You can also remove local data by uninstalling the extension.

To request access, correction, export or deletion of platform data, email [email protected]. The broader service privacy policy remains available at forexfundamentals.com/privacy-policy.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is limited to what is necessary for the extension's prominently disclosed, user-facing purpose.

Changes to this notice

If extension data practices materially change, the extension will show a new disclosure and require renewed consent before handling chart or account data under the new terms.
