Forex bank reports for every currency and pair
Forex bank reports are the research notes the large banks write on currencies: which way they lean, and why. The desk reads them note by note and shows, beside its own call on each major currency and pair, where the banks stand. It is part of Pro.
What Pro shows you
The banks publish many notes a week, and the views in them change. The desk reads each note and keeps track of who holds which view. In Pro, every currency’s page and every pair’s page carries three things:
- the Institutions score beside our call: from −100 when every bank with a view is bearish to +100 when every one is bullish, shown only where at least two banks hold a view;
- What the banks say: two or three sentences under our own argument, setting the banks’ view beside our call;
- a section of its own: a short paragraph on who leans which way, then a row per bank with the date of its latest note, its view, how that view has moved and its reason.
Why the banks’ view counts
When most of the large banks lean the way of our call, the view is widely held. When they lean the other way, you know you are trading against the consensus, and you can read why.
A change counts as much as the level: each row’s history shows when a bank turned its view.
The research is shown within its licence. The notes themselves, their price targets and their links are not on our site.
How the desk works
Every Bias, Score and Call comes from the same routine.
It reads the sources: central banks, statistics offices and the CFTC’s positioning report.
It scores each of the ten currencies Factor by Factor; the Score adds them up.
It gives each currency a Bias with a Confidence, and each pair it trades a Call: Buy, Sell or Range.
It writes down why, and what would change the call.
It reads a call again when the data behind it changes: a release, a central-bank decision, a shift in positioning.
It is research, not a signal service: entry, size and exit stay yours.
Questions
Which banks are covered?
The large banks and research houses whose currency research the desk reads. Pro names each one in its own row; this page does not.
Do I get the full research notes?
No. You get each bank’s view with its reason in a line, and the desk’s summary of them all. The notes, their price targets and their links stay with the banks.
Are bank reports in the essential membership?
No. Bank reports are part of Pro, with the currency data and the Pro MCP. An essential member sees where the research sits on each page, without the research itself.
Forex Fundamentals is research, not investment advice: entry, size and exit stay yours. Trading foreign exchange carries risk.
