Forex notifications on desktop and phone

Forex notifications tell you when the fundamentals behind a pair or a currency you follow have changed, so you do not have to keep checking. Forex Fundamentals sends them in the app and, if you switch it on, as push notifications on your desktop and your phone. Each one names what changed, from what it was to what it is.

An example of forex notifications: what changed on the pairs and currencies followed. Invented values, not today’s call; today’s board is in the membership.

What you are told, and where

You follow pairs and currencies on the Watchlist. Three rules, each a switch and all on by default, decide what reaches you:

  • a pair’s Call changes between Buy, Sell and Range;
  • a Bias changes grade: Bullish to Strong Bullish counts;
  • a currency’s Confidence changes.

Where the alerts reach you

Every alert lands in the inbox, with an unread count on the bell, and as a toast and a sound in an open tab. Push is your choice per device: allow it in the browser or the installed app on your desktop and your phone, and switch each device off on its own.

One desk update sends you at most one notification per channel. It names the change when there is one and counts them when there are more; the reasoning waits in the app.

Record a trade as a Position and eight more alerts watch it, all on by default: when our Call on the pair turns against you, when the price nears your stop or crosses the level where the desk’s view stops holding, when the currency you bought looks priced in, and when your risk on one currency goes above a limit you set. A Position an alert fired on waits under Needs review until you keep it, adjust it or close it.

How the desk works

Every Bias, Score and Call comes from the same routine.

  • It reads the sources: central banks, statistics offices and the CFTC’s positioning report.

  • It scores each of the ten currencies Factor by Factor; the Score adds them up.

  • It gives each currency a Bias with a Confidence, and each pair it trades a Call: Buy, Sell or Range.

  • It writes down why, and what would change the call.

  • It reads a call again when the data behind it changes: a release, a central-bank decision, a shift in positioning.

It is research, not a signal service: entry, size and exit stay yours.

Questions

Will I be flooded with alerts?

No. You choose what you follow and switch each rule on or off. One desk update gives you at most one notification per channel, however many things changed.

Do the notifications work on my phone?

Yes. Push works in the browser and in the installed app, on desktop and on your phone. You allow it per device, and the browser only asks after you click.

Do the alerts come by email?

The Watchlist’s do not: they come in the app and by push, so your inbox does not fill up. Alerts on your Positions also come by email, one per desk update, and a price alert at once.

Forex Fundamentals is research, not investment advice: entry, size and exit stay yours. Trading foreign exchange carries risk.
