Fundamental Analysis for Day Traders
Fundamental analysis for day traders is a short read before the session: which side the fundamentals favour on the pairs you trade, and which releases land while you are in the market. Forex Fundamentals puts both in one place for the ten major currencies. Your entries, your timing and your levels stay your own.
Before the session
A few minutes before you start, you can read:
- the desk’s Call on each pair you trade, Buy, Sell or Range, with the reasons behind it;
- each currency’s Bias, from Strong Bullish to Strong Bearish, with its Confidence;
- the Daily brief, which says which Biases moved and why;
- the day’s releases on the economic calendar, each with its Impact, its forecast and its time in your own time zone.
When the news lands
On the economic calendar each release counts down to its time and shows its actual figure beside the forecast once it is out. Open a release for what it measures and how far it landed from the forecast.
The News page groups the live headlines into stories per currency, beside our call, so you can see whether the news leans the same way.
How the desk works
Every Bias, Score and Call comes from the same routine.
It reads the sources: central banks, statistics offices and the CFTC’s positioning report.
It scores each of the ten currencies Factor by Factor; the Score adds them up.
It gives each currency a Bias with a Confidence, and each pair it trades a Call: Buy, Sell or Range.
It writes down why, and what would change the call.
It reads a call again when the data behind it changes: a release, a central-bank decision, a shift in positioning.
It is research, not a signal service: entry, size and exit stay yours.
Questions
Are fundamentals too slow for intraday trading?
They do not time an entry. They tell you which side the economy behind each currency is on, and the calendar tells you when a release could move the pair while you hold it.
Is the economic calendar free?
Yes. The calendar, with every release, its Impact and its figures, is open to everyone without an account. The Calls and the Biases are in the membership.
Is the Call a trade signal?
No. It says which side the fundamentals favour and how firmly the desk holds that view. When to enter, how much to risk and where to exit stay your decisions.
Forex Fundamentals is research, not investment advice: entry, size and exit stay yours. Trading foreign exchange carries risk.
